Since taking an interest in photography, my family can rest assure that they'll forever have a personal photographer to document their lives. While I keep hinting that gratuity is welcomed, I don't think anyone is listening. Jokes aside, I really look forward to taking my sister's annual family photo. I am so grateful for my sister that it is my honor to gift her this every year. My family immigrated to America when I was in the second grade - if it weren't for my sister sitting with me everyday after school, helping me recite the multiplication table, learning US history alongside me, reading about photosynthesis and finding a simpler way to explain it to me, I'd still be in ESL classes! I won't lie, though, this gift is a lot of work. From shopping for my sister's dress, which I need to find an excuse to borrow, to finding complementing outfits for the girls, to selecting a location, and then helping everyone get ready on the day of the shoot, I'm usually beat before the session even begin. But the reward of seeing my vision come to life is so satisfying. Getting to enjoy a burnt caramel ice cream from Ici and a full body massage from the girls after the session was not so shabby either.
Sis, hope you like the pictures...and thanks for taking all of my orders, ahem, suggestions to a T. Love you all!
Leaving you with some of my favorite photos. Till next time, Ngoc
