This is my third year taking my sister's annual family photos, which doubles as a pampering session for my sister and her girls because I come over to do their hair and makeup beforehand. While I made sure they know how lucky they are to receive my services, I secretly love our sessions because my sister gives me full reign over the entire process. The reward of seeing my vision come to life is so special. It's also amazing to see how we each evolve through these annual photo sessions. For me, my photography is finally feeling more effortless, which is something I always strive for. As for my sister, she is becoming an expert shopper for their session - don't you just love how everyone's outfits came together without looking too contrived? Finally, the girls. Oh my gosh, Isabelle and Annabelle came ready to model. Unbeknownst to me, they have been practicing their poses at home so they came prepared with back arching poses that would make Tyra Banks proud. I think I say this every year but this may be my favorite year! You be the judge - here are our previous sessions in 2014 and 2015.
