How profound!
These were the words of my eleven year old nephew, Maxwell, describing his day trip to San Francisco for our photo session. He usually hates photo sessions so it was amusing and a little shocking to watch the overnight transformation.

While I made sure they know how lucky they are to receive my services, I secretly love our sessions because my sister gives me full reign over the entire process. Read MoreDue to reasons beyond our control, this family session took place at an unlikely place - the Rossmoor Retirement Community. Scheduling the session was a fight against time as Evelyn's mother is battling the last stage of cancer. All that Evelyn asked for are some photos to document her family, most importantly, something for her daughter to remember her Mother by. I have never been more nervous about a session as I was this day. A bit of nervous energy has always made me work better but I really did not want to disappoint this family.
